JOHN DROUILLARD is a Los Angeles-based theatrical director, producer and actor who is committed to working with passionate partners to create unforgettable, meaningful live performance experiences.

After four decades in the performing arts, John has a deep respect for the power of strong creative relationships to pull great works from the dust, moments in time that can have important, lasting resonance in the minds and hearts of audiences.

John has worked and collaborated with groups such as Hermosa Beach Playhouse, Civic Light Opera of South Bay Cities, Santa Monica Playhouse, and Deaf West Theatre. His projects include producing the first mainstream concert for the deaf rock band Beethoven’s Nightmare in the heart of Hollywood, featured in the 2010 documentary See What I’m Saying.

In 2011, John also produced and directed the first stage production of The Elephant Man in the classic’s history to portray the title character as he actually physically appeared, brought to life by actor Sean Hoagland and Academy Award-winning make-up effects artist Barney Burman.

John holds a BFA in Performance Studies from the School of Dramatic Arts at the University of Southern California.
